Canon PowerShot A4000IS 16.0 MP Coupon

Elosser (kernersville, nc United States) :This is my fourth or fifth Canon digital P&S, over the years I've worn all the others out. This one has lived up to my expectations of Canon quality. All the controls do take a bit of experimentation to figure out, but you can leave it on AUTO and let the camera do all the work. The only disadvantage for me, there is no manual control of shutter speed and F-stop. However, in P mode you can index the exposure (+/-) and set the ISO speed for some creativity

Tom G (Arizona):The little camera is a charmer. The picture quality is color perfect. Has a big LCD display. The response time of the controls and zoom are very snappy. It has 8x optical zoom and if you keep your finger on the zoom it continues after a slight warning pause onto digital zoom for 32x. Yeah, the pic will get a bit grainy at that level but you've got lots of pixels to work with.

Duncan (Grosse Pointe Farms, MI):When my pocket Sony camera died, I thought I wanted a little bigger camera with more features, but friends with bigger, "real" cameras convinced me to look for another pocket-sized camera for ease of carrying. I compared at a lot of cameras in this "class" and am very happy with my decision to go with this Canon PowerShot

Canon PowerShot S120 12.1 MP Coupon

Just Chris (N.H., USA):Like most of its predecessors it's built very well, feels good in the hand, and most of the buttons have good feedback. It has gotten a little more rounded over the years but I like it, square camera with smooth edges that don't annoy me in the pocket.

Mark Sanchez (Phoenix, AZ USA): The Canon S120 is pretty amazing for a pocket sized camera and works perfect as the camera to grab when you don't want to carry the big DSLR. There are definitely some advantages and disadvantages worth pointing out.

Brian:I'm not a serious photographer; however, we all want to take quality pictures. My review won't get into the technical specs, as the review sites cover it pretty well. Instead, I'll discuss why I chose the Canon PowerShot S120, how I use it, and how I like it. I also ordered a (80MB/s) 32 GB SanDisk Extreme SDHC Class 10 UHS-1 memory card for storage, since a memory card isn't included.

Canon PowerShot SX260 HS 12.1 MP Coupon

E. Tam (Antioch, CA):I received my SX260 last Wednesday and have taken about 700 shots and a few quick 5 minute video. Without writing a novel, here are the high/low points of this unit. In addition to this unit, I also purchased a couple of aftermarket batteries (and after market A/C adapters for about $5.00 each) for about $5.00 each and the batteries work fine.

K. S. Bowen "KS Bowen" (California):I am an experienced amateur photographer and I've owned many cameras over the past 40 years. I've had some photos published but photography has always been strictly a hobby, though a serious one. I shoot with a Canon 7D, Rebel backup, various 'L' lenses, and I also use an Olympus E-P1 occasionally as well as a Canon S90 and Powershot 1100S (kept in my glovebox for 'emergencies'). I enjoy taking pictures.

Artemaria (New York City):Generally speaking, NONE of these cameras is a DSLR replacement. Whomever writes that the pictures are as good as a DSLR is not speaking accurately. Also, none of the cameras is a replacement for a high end camcorder.

Canon PowerShot SX280 12MP Coupon

Telemachus (Virginia, USA):I've had a number of PowerShot cameras. Really impressed with the picture quality of the camera and the overall speed. Colors and picture quality are quite good and the low-light performance is superior. The previous review focuses nicely on the picture quality, so I wil stick with the human factors.

Another Reviewer :Enough said about how good this compact camera is in the other reviews. Only two quick comments: It is an excellent compact zoom camera complimentary to my SLR camera/lens collection on the road for quick shots (photo & video) without lens changing. Case Logic DCB-302 Compact Case provides good protection and a perfect fit with room for extra battery and SD card.

Malinsky : Also, you'll only get about 30 minutes or so of 1920/60fps HD video per charge (keep in mind the battery will likely be flashing red most of the time). But keep in mind, its really just a bug. When you power up your camera, the true charge is shown on the indicator.

Canon PowerShot G16 12.1 MP Coupon

S. Vogt :This is my second stab at a review for this camera and after spending more time with it.. while I still think it is a solid camera, whether it's worth the price depends on what your priorities are. If you like fast burst shooting and that is something that you value highly, then by all means, get this camera. But if your primary concern is still image quality and decent AF speed, I suggest saving your money and buying the older G15 instead or wait until the price inevitably drops.

John Blayse (Florida):PowerShot G16 is equipped with 2 wheel functions - one to select different shooting modes and a custom offset allows light. The new version is also equipped with removable flash hot shoe for flash parallel toad in the left corner of the machine.

Peter:The burst performance works as advertised. This camera excels as a budget action shooter. Outside of that the autofocus performance is good, but again, not that different from the G15...despite Canon's claims of vastly improved autofocus.

Canon PowerShot SH530 12MP Coupon

Fox "vaporlock9" (Foothills of the Sierras): I switched to Program mode and started playing with the settings and menus. The first thing I noticed was that JPG compression was set at "fine"...not "very fine" which is an option. File size went up, but noise decreased quite a bit. Much of the noise was in fact jpg compression artifacts.

Ron (SF Bay Area): I didn't get the 530HS because I had heard negative feedback about the touch screen. The only thing other than the touch screen that is different is that the 530HS has wi-fi. The 520HS cost at least $50 less. I am leaving on a cruise and will report back when I return.

Spigel "shutterbug" (olean,ny): It would be nice to have a printed manual rather than a CD for more in depth discussion of the camera but this is an industry trend. The movies are also quite good. I bought the camera at BJs where it was a little cheaper but had to buy the micro SD card which can be gotten cheaper online. All in all this camera seems like a winner and will update if my intial impression changes

Canon EOS Rebel T4i 18.0 MP Coupon

Reed (Detroit):I had this long awesome review and Amazon lost it of course. So here goes a second try.
This is my second Canon camera. Previously I have owned Olympus and Minolta cameras. I owned a t2i before this and used a t3i for weeks for testing purposes. I will try to cover most aspects of the new features and image quality

Thompson (Missouri, United States):I've only had my T3i for about 8 months when this came out but I read the details and decided to pre-order. The new T4i just arrived today (body only) and I've been playing around with it all afternoon using my 50mm 1.4 lens.

T3iEnthusiast:I'm a bit of a gadget junkie while my wife is not. The T4i allows her to pick up the camera and take better quality pictures, while affording me the ability to learn more about photography and move to manual settings. While I learn, I too can use the camera in auto mode and use the screen tips to assist me.
